Who owns that domain? Find out in a second.
Registrar, registration and expiry dates, nameservers and status for any domain, straight from the registry. Works for .ae, .com and hundreds more.
Raw registry record
Everything the registry publishes, explained in plain words.
Registrar and owner
Which company manages the domain and, where the registry allows, the organisation behind it.
Dates that matter
When it was registered, when it was last changed, and when it expires, with a countdown.
Nameservers
Where the domain points today, so you can tell which host or DNS provider runs it.
Status and locks
Transfer locks, holds and DNSSEC, the things that decide whether a domain can move or expire.
Three questions a WHOIS lookup answers.
Is the name I want taken, and by whom?
See if it is registered, who holds it, and when it expires. If it is free, register it here in AED.
When does my own domain expire?
Check your expiry and nameservers in one place. Move it to CreativeON and we remind you before every renewal.
Is this website legitimate?
A domain registered last week claiming to be a bank is a red flag. Registration age and registrar tell the story.
Questions people ask about WHOIS.
Need a domain registered, transferred or recovered? Call +971 50 360 7195 or write to sales@creativeon.ae.
What is a WHOIS lookup?
WHOIS is the public record every domain registry keeps: who the registrar is, when the domain was registered and when it expires, its nameservers and its status. A WHOIS lookup reads that record for the name you enter.
Can I see who owns a .ae domain?
The .ae registry (aeDA, part of the TDRA) publishes the registrar, status and nameservers but keeps contact details private. Our lookup shows everything the registry makes public.
Why are the owner details hidden for many domains?
Since GDPR and similar privacy rules, most registries redact personal contact data. Company names sometimes remain visible. Registrar, dates and nameservers are always shown.
How do I find out when a domain expires?
Enter the domain above. For most extensions the expiry date is shown with a countdown. .ae records do not publish dates; contact us and we can check for you.
The domain I want is taken. What can I do?
Check the expiry date, try a different extension such as .ae or .net, or ask us to approach the owner. If the domain expires and is not renewed it may become available again; we can watch it for you.
Can I transfer a domain I found here to CreativeON?
Yes, if you own it. Unlock it at the current registrar, get the authorisation code, and start the transfer from our domains page. We handle the rest and bill in AED.
Is this lookup free and how often is it updated?
Free, no account needed. Results come straight from the registries and are cached for one hour; the registries themselves update within minutes of a change.
Found the perfect name?
Register it in AED, or move a domain you already own to CreativeON and never miss a renewal again.
